Indigent rural women in western Kenya region are playing a key role in supporting their households and communities in achieving food and nutrition security, generating income, improving rural livelihoods and overall well-being. Through will limited education, they contribute to agriculture and rural enterprises and fuel local and national economies. Rural Women are active players in achieving sustainable development. However, every day, in most communities, women and girls still face persistent structural constraints that prevent them from fully enjoying their human rights and hamper their efforts to improve their lives as well as those of others around them. In this sense, they are the most important target group taking the center stage at Women Business Hub
